Judi is a full-time artist, following a formal art education and a career in design. Working from her Metrowest studio and en plein air, Judi’s process is grounded in the tradition of painting from life using acrylics and oils to capture the vitality of her subjects through loose realism and energetic bold brushwork. 

Inspiration, Judi discovered, is found when she views the world through the artist’s lens to see light, shape, and color, whether it be in still life, floral, animal, or landscape scenes. 

In addition, Judi finds joy in teaching art, creating an environment for students to exchange ideas and cultivate their distinctive styles.
