Martha Gold
Pottery
Martha has been making pottery for the past 40 years. She considers herself a vessel maker. My pots hold food, water, utensils, candles, even just air.Wheel throwing is the technique Martha uses in her studio in Natick, Massachusetts. She measures, tests, and creates her own glazes firing her pots in her kiln. In this way, she can control the colors and surface sheen. Her pottery is high fired to over 2300°F.
All pots are microwaveable and dishwasher safe.
Martha teaches adult wheel throwing at the Community Kiln in Framingham and the Hopkinton Center for the Arts.
Making pottery is the joy that keeps on giving.
